2 burglars steal an estimated $300,000 of property in Woodland Hills residential heist
It happened Friday evening in the 22500 block of Dolorosa Street, north of Ventura Boulevard and east of Fallbrook Avenue
WOODLAND HILLS — Two men in dark clothing forced their way into a Woodland Hills home to take thousands of dollars worth of money and property, authorities said Saturday.
Officers were dispatched at about 11:50 p.m. Friday to the 22500 block of Dolorosa Street, north of Ventura Boulevard and east of Fallbrook Avenue, in response to a burglary call, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Two men in dark clothing were seen on a video surveillance camera by the homeowner entering the residence, police said.
ABC7 reported that the suspects gained entry by shattering a window of the side of the home and stole an estimated $300,000 of property, which included jewelry, cash and a safe.
Police did not confirm the dollar amount, but said no one was home at the time of the burglary.
