It happened Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of 74th and Figueroa streets, west of the 110 Freeway and south of Florence Avenue.
Five women and one man were shot Wednesday in South Los Angeles and police believe the victims may have been innocent bystanders.
The shooting was reported shortly after 3:12 p.m. Wednesday when officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s 77th Street Community Police Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call at the intersection of 74th and Figueroa streets, west of the 110 Freeway and south of Florence Avenue, police said.

Police said the victims were walking along the street when three suspects drove up to them and opened fire, and then drove away from the scene.
