Great American Family’s fourth-annual “Great American Christmas” is shaping up to be a big celebration with Candace Cameron Bure and more stars at the helm.
In February, the network announced the first few movies from its 2024 lineup, including Jill Wagner’s Aurora Christmas. Two months later, Great American Family revealed that Mario Lopez and his wife, Courtney Lopez, are teaming up for a new holiday movie.
Cameron Bure, meanwhile, will star in both A Christmas Less Traveled with Eric Johnson and Home Sweet Christmas with Cameron Mathison. (Cameron Bure’s Jingle Bells, Wedding Bells is no longer going into production in 2024.)
Mario Lopez Joins Great American Family for Exclusive Multiyear Deal
The network’s first ensemble holiday movie, A Little Women’s Christmas, was announced in July. The following month, Great American Media revealed that the festive season will kick off on October 19. In addition to 24/7 Christmas coverage on Great American Family from October through December, viewers can watch new movies on its streaming service, Pure Flix, beginning October 17.

‘Christmas in Scotland’

Logline: “A New York installation designer (Winternitz) helps a small Scottish community create a dazzling light display to win ‘Best Christmas Village’ festival.
