Letter: Trump was made a fool of, even if Harris isn’t perfect
Overall, Trump was made a fool of and Kamala Harris is looking like the better, clearer-minded option.
As I am watching the debate right now, live, I can say that Harris has won without a doubt.
Donald Trump’s rhetoric throughout the entire debate was all about baseless claims about what he will do and the rest of his delusions.
Trump often interrupted just to take a jab at Harris and other governmental figures, and while he did point out some of her wrongdoings, he refuses to take accountability for his own.
Trump’s “friendships” with other dictators that he keeps mentioning are very concerning, and like Kamala Harris said, it will likely be very easy to manipulate him.
Harris, on the other hand, was clear on issues such women’s abortion rights and the dreams of Americans. She targeted Trump correctly on his weak points, and he often responded by claiming that Harris will do wrong to certain groups and how she doesn’t care.
However, Kamala wasn’t too clear about her immigration and economic policies and therefore doesn’t acknowledge some of her weak points.
ABC anchor Linsey Davis also pointed out that she was quite inconsistent in her policies.
Overall, Trump was made a fool of and Kamala Harris is looking like the better, clearer-minded option.
