Los Angeles County voters: your vote-by-mail ballot is on its way
Voters can drop off their ballots in a mailbox, at a drop box location or, starting Oct. 26, at a vote center.

The Los Angeles County registrar’s office has started sending out vote-by-mail ballots for the Nov. 5 general election, the office announced on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Voters can drop off their completed ballots in a mailbox postage-free, at one of over 400 ballot drop box locations across the county — or, starting Oct. 26, at a vote center.
An individual who is eligible to cast a ballot but hasn’t registered to vote has until Oct. 21 to register.
Voters who would like to track the status of their ballots can register online at california.ballottrax.net/voter/.
Some voters may receive their vote-by-mail ballots before their sample ballots. Voting materials will be available online at LAVOTE.GOV/ISB starting Sunday.
Election materials are available in 18 languages. Voters can request to have their materials in their preferred language by returning the “language request form” on the back of their sample ballot book or by calling 800-815-2666 and dialing option 3.
