Update: Wind advisory issued for Antelope Valley Foothills and Antelope Valley from Sunday to Tuesday
Western Antelope Valley Foothills and Antelope Valley are included in an updated wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 2:11 p.m. The advisory is valid from Sunday 3 a.m. until Tuesday, Mar. 4 at 3 a.m.

“West winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected,” according to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA. “There is a good chance that windy conditions could extend through Tuesday and Tuesday evening.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” the NWS said. “Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.”
